A 5k Run / Walk around the Wilson Creek Winery property to Honor and Never Forget the Heroes of 9/11. Each participant will have an opportunity to fundraise to help the organization gift the family of 9/11 Hero with an amazing Memorial Picture ensuring the story will be told of their heroic action at a time of unimaginable attack against America, letting them know we have “Not Forgotten”.
Each runner / walker will receive a 3×5 Fallen Hero Flag before finishing the run.

Check in starts at 6 AM with 1st Runners starting at 8:15 AM after the singing of the National Anthem followed by Walkers.
10 AM -Noon: Thanking Sponsors, Guest Speakers and Presentations of Medals. Naming Sponsored 9/11 Heroes.

Join us in sponsoring a hero by donating or participating in our 5K Run / Walk for 9/11 Heroes. Select a hero to Sponsor:
- Go to https://honoringusaheroes.org/
- Click on Firefighters, Law Enforcement and the US Military. Read the Bios of Unsponsored Heroes.
- Select the Hero that you will be fundraising for and note service and name on entry.
- Fundraise $400, The family will receive a 16×20 Memorial Speaker/MP3 Player that will be presented to the Hero’s family at their Station in New York and Pentagon for the 25th Remembrance Ceremony.
- You will receive a printed framed copy of the 16×20 Memorial Picture.

Honoring 9/11 Heroes Through Sponsorship
By sponsoring a 9/11 Hero and joining our 5k Run / Walk, every participant’s step symbolizes the brave actions of our heroes. These steps echo the journeys made by first responders as they climbed and descended the stairways of the Twin Towers, risking everything to rescue thousands of people before the towers fell.
Direct Impact of Your Contribution
Every dollar you donate or raise is directly allocated to a Hero. Your name, team, or business will be recognized as the sponsor for a Hero, and this sponsorship will be personally delivered to the surviving family members of each station. The delivery will be made by Honoring USA Hero before September 11, 2026, in commemoration of the 25th Remembrance Anniversary of 9/11, taking place in New York City and Washington D.C.
Memorial Picture Speakers: Keeping the Stories Alive
These special Memorial Picture Speakers serve as a lasting tribute to each Hero. Whenever someone asks, “I hear the music but I don’t see a speaker anywhere, where is the music coming from?” the story of the Hero will be shared, making them the life of the party. This unique approach ensures that each Hero’s legacy will truly “Never be Forgotten.”
